The Aveda Institute Columbus opened in February of 2004 and is located right in the heart of the Ohio State University district. The facilities and equipment provided by the Aveda Institute Columbus emulate a true salon and spa setting. Our students receive tremendous hands-on experience, making a smooth transition from the Institute to the workplace.The Institute operates in over 13,000 square feet of space. On our first floor we have a 750 square foot retail store and sensory experience area, as well as over 4,000 square feet devoted to our cosmetology clinic. Our cosmetology clinic includes room for 60 hair stations and a combination of 4 luxury shampoo beds and 4 traditional shampoo bowls. The lower level contains a 3,500 square feet spa clinic which includes a 7-station facial clinic, a waxing area, and a 6-station nail spa. Our 4 classrooms are on the second level along with the student lounge, student locker areas and our administrative offices.
